Within 2 years, Gail, who had previously shown horses, wanted to get back into the game but couldn't find a show halter she could purchase locally within her budget. Deciding others might feel the same way, Paul & Gail began stocking show halters in their store. Then, in 2001, Gail found she couldn't find show clothing she could afford that fit. That year Mitchell's added 2000 square feet to the store to display the show clothing, show halters, show saddles, jewelry, "horsey gifts" and supplies along with all the other items they now carry. The next step, of course, was the Internet where Mitchell's "One-Stop-Horse-Shop" was born to help the horse-showing public purchase good quality show clothing, show equipment and supplies at affordable prices with unbeatable customer service. |
